JDavis Athletics was formed to provide a complete developmental approach to achieving athletics success in Brisbane.

Grassroots/Base Building

My coaching philosophy at its core [along with a big emphasis on ongoing enjoyment!] is centered around developing a wide variety of movement patterns and improving biomechanics. I look to build a strength and coordination foundation through varied, engaging training that gives athletes of all stages of development a great platform for performing technical and power skills and events- not to mention aspects of many other sports.

This training style gives athletes greater opportunity for future success due to versatility.

Getting to know my athletes as people is also of particular importance to me.

Performance

For our high performance orientated athletes training is more specifically tailored to their goals and competitive schedules, but the emphasis on having fun training in and enjoying the squad environment remains key.

This differentiates us from other training environments- it’s an underrated and overlooked aspect- whether at grassroots or elite level, which I believe is crucial for athlete efficacy and longevity in their performance levels.

I am pleased to have developed athletes who are are successful in a wide range of events, set records from school to regional level and have been competitive at national championships.

Personal speed training for Multisport Elite Athletes

My skillset in developing athletes and understanding the performance factors that go into building a winning record and mindset has allowed me to achieve success in the wider sporting industry. I have successfully trained elite athletes from other sports to meet and exceed physical testing norms including rugby league players preparing for NRL trial camps, and soccer players (up to NPL level).

Individual and small group sessions:

Northside:

I have plenty of availability Saturday & Sunday and conduct many sessions at Arana on weekends, so if you are free on weekends there is a good chance we can find a session for you whether it’s a private or group session.

I typically reserve the weekday sessions at Arana for my more established northside athletes who need to train 2x per week or more as they can be limited by daylight and school/work timetables.

Please contact me for the latest information on availability for private sessions or groups and squads.

Session Pricing

Per Single Session
$25
  • Per Single Session
  • $25 group session or $50 private session
  • Sessions run from 60-80 minutes
  • My Groups typically consist of 2-5 athletes per session.
  • Suitable for athletes who are part-time, just starting out or just need a bit of extra fine tuning for a specific event
  • Note- rate for non-track and field athletes (ie; team sports/sportspeople) is $75/hr
Monthly Plan
$200
  • For an established or emerging competitor that wants to work with me as their primary coach
  • Up to 3 squad sessions included per week (usually recommend at least 2)
  • Full competition support provided when available
  • Create training/season plan for national campaigns
